Changes in registration of a taxi operating permit

Holders of taxi operating permits who wish to change their registration regarding taxi station must apply for such a change at the Icelandic Transport Authority.

Supporting documents

It is important to submit all supporting documents with an application.

• Copy of a signed contract with a new taxi station

Processing of applications

• When documents are missing or conditions are not fulfilled, ICETRA notifies the applicant via email

• The license card issued due to a change in station registration has the same expiration date as the current taxi operating permit

Cost

• The cost of a new taxi operating permit license card is according to the tariff of ICETRA and is 5.000 ISK.
