QA on The Floor Manager.

Alvotech is seeking a Quality Assurance Floor Manager to ensure real-time compliance during biologics manufacturing operations for both drug substance and drug product. This role emphasizes shop-floor presence, coaching, and decision-making during production activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Direct and develop QA floor staff (QA Specialists/Associates).
• Schedule and allocate resources to support manufacturing shifts.
• Provide training and mentorship to maintain high compliance standards.
• Ensure QA presence during critical operations (cell culture, purification, aseptic filling).
• Approve line clearance, in-process checks, and critical steps.
• Act as escalation point for deviations and real-time decision-making.
• Enforce cGMP and GDP practices during production.
• Support investigations and CAPAs related to floor activities.
• Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, QC, and Engineering to resolve issues quickly.
• Communicate effectively with senior QA leadership on floor performance and risks.

Qualifications
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of QA experience in biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Strong background in drug substance and drug product operations.
• Previous experience managing QA teams on the floor.
• Ability to make quick, compliant decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and biologics processes.
