We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician or a mechanically skilled and hands-on person to join our maintenance team in a meat processing plant.

The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and general technical support for production machinery and equipment. The employee will work closely with production staff to ensure reliable operation of equipment and minimize production downtime.

Main responsibilities:
Preventive maintenance and servicing of production machinery
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical faults
Assisting with installation, adjustment and improvement of equipment
Responding to breakdowns and minimizing production downtime
General maintenance work throughout the production facility
Maintenance and repair of slaughter line equipment when required

Qualifications and experience:
Mechanical background or strong practical/mechanical skills
Experience in industrial maintenance, food production or similar environments is an advantage
Experience with food processing and packaging equipment from manufacturers such as Weber, MULTIVAC, K+G Wetter and VEMAG is a strong advantage
Experience with maintenance of slaughter line equipment is an advantage
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical problems independently
Electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic experience is an advantage
Good spoken and written English is required
Reliable, organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Formal education as a mechanic or industrial technician is an advantage, but practical experience and strong mechanical ability will also be considered.
