We are looking for hands-on, experienced riders to join our team at Sólhestar.
This role involves working closely with both our horses and our guests, so we are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals who enjoy horse care as much as customer interaction.
We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.
The ideal candidate is confident around horses, comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and able to adapt to a dynamic and social work environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Guiding riding tours for guests of all experience levels
• Assisting customers before, during, and after tours
• Daily horse care and stable work
• Preparing horses for tours, feeding, grooming, and general maintenance

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Strong riding ability and confidence handling horses
• Experience with stable work and general horse care
• Experience riding Icelandic horses is an advantage but not required
• Ability to work with riders ranging from complete beginners to experienced riders
• Good understanding of different horse breeds and riding styles
• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality, as the role involves extensive interaction with guests
• Applicants aged 20–30 are preferred

Additional Information:

Wages according to Báran SA/SGS collective agreement

Daytime work only, typically 5 working days per week
