Graphics Programmer - CCP ehf.
CCP is looking for a Graphics Programmer with a deep passion for games and visual craft to join the EVE Online art team in our Reykjavík studio.
You will work closely with artists and engineers to bring stunning visuals to life, developing shaders, rendering features, and tools that directly shape the look and feel of EVE Online.
The position is located in Reykjavík, Iceland.
Your Tasks:
Design and implement new graphical features, shaders, and visual solutions that enhance EVE Online’s signature look
Work closely with artists to understand their needs and deliver tools and workflows that empower their creativity
Contribute to improvements in real-time rendering quality and visual performance
Identify and resolve graphics performance issues in collaboration with the team
Deliver new features and improve existing visual systems, prioritizing and breaking down tasks to meet deadlines
Help maintain a collaborative and supportive team environment
Your Profile:
2-3 years of experience in graphics programming, technical art or a related field
Experience with real-time graphics programming and an understanding of modern rendering pipelines
Hands-on experience with shader programming (HLSL or GLSL)
Experience with Python. Knowledge of C++ is a plus
Experience or strong interest in developing internal tools and pipeline automation to support artists
Familiarity with GPU profiling and performance optimization
Strong communication skills. You’re comfortable bridging the gap between technical and artistic disciplines
