In each inspection, both the condition of the vehicle is checked and the technical compliance with the requirements observed. For example, the vehicle identification number is checked and the odometer reading recorded, exhaust pollution measured, headlights alignment and lighting equipment checked, thread depth in tires measured, methane system and gas equipment checked, drawbar and towing capacity checked, condition of fire extinguishers, underrun protection, speed limiter and wheel balancing (an abnormal wheel position may require a wheel alignment certificate).
Samgongustofa reminds you of that it is the owner (operator) of a vehicle who is responsible for ensuring that it is in a legally compliant condition, and the driver at any given time should also ensure that the vehicle they are driving is in good condition. The inspection performed according to the inspection manual involves checking whether the vehicle meets the minimum requirements of the authorities regarding its condition, and is considered as roadworthy.
