The Icelandic Youth Fund
The aim of the fund is to increase the capacity of youth organisations and associations to offer a wider range of activities for their members.
Projects must be aligned with the objectives of the Youth Act. Under the Act, youth work is defined as organised social and leisure activities in which children and young people voluntarily come together in their free time to pursue shared values, goals and interests that they themselves consider meaningful.
Priority is given to supporting the general costs of projects rather than salary expenses.
All applications must be submitted electronically through the Rannís application portal (Rannis.is - My pages). Applications in any other format will not be accepted.
The fund announces two calls for applications each year, with application deadlines in February and October.
