Supervision of the National Archives

In Article 13 (4) of Act No. 77/2014 on Public Archives, the role of public archives is stipulated in the supervision of the archiving and records management of the delivering parties. It states that public archives shall “supervise the implementation of this law by the delivering parties, regulations set by the Minister on the basis of them and rules established pursuant to Article 8; delivering parties shall grant access to their facilities for examinations in the interests of the supervision of public archives”.
