How do I apply?

• Fill out the appropriate application form

• All documents must be sent to The Directorate of Health by post or delivered to the reception. Applications or supporting documents sent by e-mail are not accepted.

• A document that is only issued electronically and has an
  electronic seal, which can be verified is accepted if sent by email to mottaka@landlaeknir.is directly from the competent authority.

How long time does it take to process an application?

All applications are processed as quickly as possible. The Directorate of Health aims to start processing applications no later than six weeks after receiving the application.
