The Women’s Association of Grímsneshreppur recently presented the Móberg nursing home in Selfoss with a vital signs monitor as a gift in memory of their honorary member, Þóra Magnúsdóttir, who resided at Móberg for a time.

To achieve this goal, we will soon conduct a service survey aimed at understanding the experiences of those who seek healthcare from us and identifying areas that need improvement.

In celebration of World Mental Health Day on October 10, the staff of the psychiatric day and outpatient unit opened their doors and invited visitors to learn about the department’s work, equipment, and facilities. It is estimated that over one hundred guests visited us on this occasion.

A new Service Quality Survey, conducted from November 2024 to January 2025, reveals that the public is increasingly satisfied with the services provided by the District Commissioners and holds these offices in high regard.
