On Sunday, November 26, the European Nursing Assistant Day was celebrated. About 100 nursing assistants work in various jobs at the Akukreyri Hospital. Anna Fanney is one of them.

TR is participating in the service survey of government institutions organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy. The survey will be sent monthly by e-mail to TR's customers who have completed and errands in the previous month. The first sending of the survey will be in September. Customers of TR's service center in Hlíðasmáro can also take the survey by scanning a QR code.

A new digital application for an operating licence has been opened for accommodation and restaurants.

The Healthcare Institution of North Iceland will open a new clinic on Monday February 19th at Sunnuhlíð 12 in Akureyri.

Applications for home accommodation are now open for 2022. A home-stay permit gives an individual permission to sell accommodation in his domicile or in properties owned by him/her.

The Icelandic National Planning Agency will hold a meeting on proposals for a coastal area plan for the Westfjords and Eastfjords, on Tuesday 9 August at 13:30. The meeting will take place in the building of the Icelandic National Planning Agency at Borgartún 7B and is open to all.

The annual meeting of the Hospital in Akureyri for the working year 2022 will take place tomorrow, September 19 at 14, in the meeting room Kjarna and streaming. A recording of the meeting will be available after it.

Due to uncontrollable causes, the telephone time for medicinal product renewals in Ólafsvík and Grundarfjörður will be shortened and will now be temporarily in the following times.

When regulation on coastal fishing will be issued, it will be possible to apply for coastal fishing permit with electronic ID in the digital application portal at Ísland.is.

The Public Health Fund 2024 is now open for applications, and the deadline to apply for grants is November 15, 2023.
