Today, the possibility to download digital disability certificates was opened on Ísland.is and the chair of ÖBÍ, Þuríður Harpa Sigurðardóttir, has already downloaded the digital disability certificate on her smartphone.

Hjúkrun 2023 - The Nursing conference - took place at the end of September at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica. The conference was organized by the Association of Icelandic Nurses in collaboration with the University of Iceland, the University of Akureyri, Landspítali and the health care centers of the capital region.

The World AIDS Day is held annually on 1 December. The purpose of the day is to raise awareness through education, to remember those who have died due to AIDS, and to celebrate the victories that have been achieved in the fight against AIDS.
