A Nordic point-of-sight conference was held from 25 - 26 October at the Blind Society's house in Hamrahlíð 17. Participants from Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden attended the conference, as well as several participants from Teams.

Land and Forest is looking for strong staff to work on the development and conservation of Icelandic vegetation resources through land reclamation, new forests and forest preservation to promote the economic, environmental and social benefits of sustainable land use. We are now looking for an expert who works with geographical data and databases, as well as geographical analyses. The deadline for applications is 7 October.
