The Teddy Bear Hospital will be open for injured or sick teddy bears on Saturday October 12th. Teddy bears and their owners are welcome at the HSN Akureyri Health Care Center Sunnuhlíð, where medical students receive them.

Fjóla Björnsdóttir, specialist in general medicine, has been employed in a 75% position at the psychiatric ward at the hospital in Akureyri, as of 1 October 2024.
