Graduates can view their transcript on Ísland.is

Graduate students from the University of Iceland can now access both information about their graduation and confirm their academic record with an electronic seal inside Ísland.is.

So far, graduates have been able to apply their certified statements of study to the UI helpdesk at the University Centre, this new service is intended to save people the trip.

On Ísland.is My Pages, under the category Education, graduates from the University of Iceland can now view the date of graduation, program, department, school, and degree or other final examination as appropriate.

Students enrolled from the University from 2015 onwards may also apply for their academic r, for example, which program and courses the student has completed, along with average grades and total credits. The academic records are electronically sealed and thus certified copies, but various parties require such authentication of origin, e.g., in connection with job or study applications.

Therefore, graduates may now submit certified academic record statements to those who so request in a simple electronic manner, e.g. by email. Special attention is drawn to the fact that the review is no longer considered certified if it is printed.

The solution is now being introduced at other universities and also work has started on access to documents in self-service.
