Reporting of salmon and trout catches

The Marine and Freshwater Research Institute collects information on salmon and trout catches in cooperation with the Directorate of Fisheries. The Marine and Freshwater Research Institute distributes fishing logbooks to Freshwater Fisheries Associations/fishing rights owners, where fishermen register their catches.

Freshwater Fisheries Associations/owners of fishing rights are obliged to submit information on fishing in their waters to the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute by submission of fishing logbook og by electronic submission of catch information.
