Performing Arts Fund
The role of the Performing Arts Fund is to promote Icelandic performing arts and cover other projects that fall under the role and activities in the field of performing arts by allocating funds from the fund to professional groups.
Grant entries for Performing Arts Fund
Grants are awarded for individual projects by professional performing arts groups. An application to the Performing Arts Fund can also serve as an application for an Artists’ Salary Fund if specified on the application form.
All applications must be submitted electronically through the Rannís application portal (Rannis.is - My pages). Applications in any other format will not be accepted.

Other legal entities (e.g., production companies) can apply on behalf of professional performing arts groups.
Rannís manages the Performing Arts Fund on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Innovation, and Higher Education. The fund operates on the basis of the Act on Performing Arts.
