Rules on form, delivery and confirmation of documents in court proceedings

The Administrative Board of the Courts has just adopted rules on form, delivery methods and confirmation of documents in court cases no. 8/2024, which took effect on July 1st.
The Board of the Judical administration recently adopted rules on form, delivery methods and confirmation of documents in court cases No. 8/2024, which took effect on July 1st and were published in the B-part of the Stjórnartíðindi, daily edition on June 28, 2024 under the number 760/2024 .
The rules came into effect alongside the law No. 53/2024 on various changes to the legal system and are established as per the authority in Article 15(2)(g) of the Law on Civil Procedure No. 91/1991 and Article 17(2)(g) of the Law on Criminal Procedure No. 88/2008 and are binding.
The rules cover the form and delivery of any documents to the courts in court cases and it is specifically noted that the courts must continue to be provided with the required number of copies on paper in cases other than so-called investigative cases, see Article 3 of the rules.
