Arndís Sveinbjörnsdóttir has been appointed as Managing Director of the District Court of Reykjanes.

Arndís completed her Master’s degree in law from the University of Iceland in 2009, LL.M. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2011 and gained the right to practice as a district court lawyer in 2012. She served as a divisional director and later divisional director at Motus from 2020-2023. Before that time she worked as a lawyer at Lögheimtan ehf. from 2016 - 2020 and before that as a lawyer at the Law Office of SS ehf.
