Specialized Care for Women with Pregnancy Risk Factors or Complications
Also available for issues arising in the first two weeks after childbirth.
We kindly ask our patients to keep the following in mind:
Please do not bring children to ultrasound examinations.
Only one companion may be present during the ultrasound.
Please turn off mobile phones.
Photography is not allowed.
Respect privacy and avoid discussing matters that other patients may overhear.
Prenatal Screening
Prenatal screening includes ultrasound examinations during pregnancy:
confirmation of pregnancy
first-trimester screening (11-14 weeks)
second-trimester scan (19-20 weeks)
growth measurements
blood flow assessments
amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling.
Antenatal Care
Specialized antenatal care for women with pregnancy risk factors, referred by healthcare professionals.
Day Unit
For women requiring increased monitoring or specialized treatment due to pregnancy complications or issues within the first two weeks after childbirth.
Examples: High blood pressure, preeclampsia, fetal growth restriction, reduced fetal movements, fluid and medication administration, labor induction, and external cephalic version for breech presentation.
Emergency Services
For unexpected complications during pregnancy or the first two weeks postpartum, women can seek care at the department in consultation with healthcare professionals. Midwives provide phone consultations to assess the need for monitoring and treatment.
Examples: Reduced fetal movements, bleeding, signs of preeclampsia, or other serious health concerns.
