Science in Springtime (mergerd conferene of SHS and LSH) - call for abstracts

The School of Health Sciences, University of Iceland, and Landspítali - University Hospital have merged their scientific conferences into one dynamic event aimed at strengthening connections, collaboration, and the visibility of science.
The new conference, titled Science in Springtime, will be held on April 8–9, 2026.
The conference brings together researchers, professionals, teachers, students, company representatives, and the interested public to present and discuss the latest research and developments in the life and health sciences in Iceland.
Participation is open to everyone and free of charge.
The abstract submission is now open, and all those conducting research in the life and health sciences are encouraged to submit an abstract.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the conference’s scientific committee, and accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website.
Important dates:
October 20 – Abstract submission opens
December 15 – Abstract submission closes
January 20 – Authors notified at the latest
March – Conference program finalized
April 8-9 - Conference takes place
