Our Health - Meeting Series: Aging in Iceland

Our Health is a new series of meetings between the University of Iceland and Landspítali University Hospital aimed at highlighting urgent issues of the current day in health and healthcare.

These monthly briefings are open to all and will be on the agenda every last Friday of the month. Questions are answered after the meetings are over and then there will also be panel discussions.

The situation and development of older people in Iceland in the last years will be examined.

The aim is to connect demographic changes and healthy ageing with the challenges of changing health status in the early years. Given that the population is aging rapidly, it is important to look at the diverse circumstances of the diverse group of older people. It is also possible to look at
