Pricing and reimbursement

The Icelandic Medicines Agency (IMA) makes decisions on medicine prices guided by the objective of the Medicinal Products Act that the use of medicinal products in Iceland should be based on a rational and cost-effective foundation, and also decides on reimbursement as appropriate under the Medicinal Products Act and regulations issued on the basis of it.
