Dear residents of East Iceland. In light of the upcoming midterms, the Healthcare Institute of East Iceland would like to direct those who need to renew their medicine to do so in good time.

In order to ensure that the medicine is delivered, it is best to request a renewal of the medicine at least 3-4 days before the last dose is finished and it can be assumed that the delivery of medicine will take up to 2-3 working days. Information on renewals of the medicine at HSA can be seen here.

HSA healthcare centres will be closed for other reasons than emergency situations on Good Friday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The pharmacy Lyfja in Egilsstaðir and Neskaupstaður will be open on Saturday before Easter.
