A new digital application for parental leave has been opened and expectant parents who are paid workers can apply for parental leave in a simple, digital and user-friendly way.

The Welfare Committee has decided in cases 521, 530, 534 and 616/2021 that the holiday and holiday allowance should not result in a reduction in the part-time allowance in the month in which the payment of the holiday was made.

No notifications of collective redundancies were received by the Directorate of Labour in December 2021. In 2021, the Directorate of Labour received 9 notifications of collective redundancies, where 497 people were dismissed.
