Recalculated fee for fish farming at sea for the year 2024

The Directorate of Fisheries has recalculated the fee for fish farming at sea for the year 2024.
On December 15th, amendments to various laws regarding the state budget for 2024 were approved.
In 2024, the fee per kilogram will be the following:
butchered salmon 37.80 ISK per kg.
butchered rainbow trout 18.90 ISK per kg.
