Ban on fishing with bottom trawl in Djúpál. The ban will take effect at 18:00 o'clock on the 17th of January 2024 and will remain effective until 18:00 o'clock on the 31st of January 2024.
The exclusion zone is limited by the following coordinates:
66°31,50´N, 23°44,00´V
66°30,00´N, 23°37,00´V
66°27,00´N, 23°42,50´V
66°29,10´N, 23°48,32´V
The prerequisite for closure is:
Ban on fishing with bottom trawl in Djúpál. Small haddock catch, 67.1% is below the threshold in trawlers catch.
