For a fishing vessel to be allocated a regional quota, its transfer balance must be positive.

Deadline for corrections

Fishing companies have until the 15th of September 2026 to correct the transfer balance of their vessels.
Vessels with a negative transfer balance after that date will lose their right to be allocated a regional quota.
