Mackerel quota for Category A vessels
The Directorate of Fisheries has compiled the applications from Category A vessels for the 4,000-tonne mackerel quota and this time eighty applications were received. Total volume available is 500 tons. Due to the large number of applications, the Directorate of Fisheries requests that applicants review the list to check if their registration is correct and to ensure their application is included in the list.
Comments must be sent no later than Tuesday the 22th of September 2026, to fiskistofa@fiskistofa.is. The allocation will take place next Wednesday 23nd of September.
