In accordance with (1.) amendment to regulation on allocation of catch deducted from total allowable catch pursuant to paragraph 5 of Article 8 of the Act on the Management of Fisheries, the longline discount for cod in the 3rd and 4th quarters of the 2025/2026 fishing year is transferred to the 2nd quarter (December – February).

Therefore the longline discount for cod has been reopened for the 2nd quarter and granted to vessels that met the conditions from 22 January 2026 onwards.
