The Directorate of Fisheries has allocated lumpfish quota to newcomers. A total of 155 tons was allocated, divided equally among 31 applicants, each of whom received 5,000 kilograms per vessel.

Those who were allocated a catch quota in this allocation and do not have a coastal fishing permit may commence fishing, provided that the vessel has a general fishing permit.
