The main goal of the project was to strengthen efforts to prevent and respond to domestic violence. This was done by sharing knowledge about effective methods, improving cooperation between professionals, offering education, and raising public awareness nationwide.

The project did not introduce new services. Instead, it focused on improving existing support systems, increasing the knowledge of professionals, and making available services more visible. The work took place across the entire country and followed a coordinated approach within all police districts.

Special attention was given to vulnerable groups, including immigrant women, women with disabilities, and pregnant women.The awareness campaign highlighted the real experiences of both survivors and perpetrators who were able to change their situation with the support of professionals. It also showcased the wide range of services available to people experiencing domestic violence.
