Local governments handle a wide range of tasks for a wide range of people. It is therefore essential that candidates running for municipal office reflect the diversity of the community.

Játak encourages all candidate lists for city, town, and municipal councils to prioritize diversity, safeguard equal rights for people of all genders, and present slates that genuinely represent the broad spectrum of human experience.

We hope that through a coordinated effort, Játak can help increase diversity among candidates in municipal elections. We need people of all genders, of diverse ages, and from all kinds of backgrounds to come together to shape our society.
