Lea Karen Friðbjörnsdóttir has been blind since she was very young and has always used the services of the Icelandic Audio Library. It was therefore very appealing for the library to get to know her better and to know what could be done better, which books she wanted to make available to the library and answer the many questions Lea had about the library and its operations. Next winter Lea will start her studies in Flensborg School and the library has started preparing educational material to meet that in cooperation with Sjónstöð Íslands. The visit was informative and fun for all parties and Lea’s optimism, hard work and positive attitude was extremely contagious.
