The Annual Icelandic Forestry Conference Program

The annual Icelandic Forestry Conference will be held in Hof, Akureyri, 20-21 March under the title Forest Resources - Infrastructure and Planning. About 140 people are registered to the event.

The Conference is held in collaboration of Land and Forest Iceland with the Agricultural University of Iceland, the Icelandic Forestry Association, the Icelandic Forester's Association and the Farmers’ Association of Iceland. The conference has been held continuously for over two decades, except for two occasions during the coronavirus pandemic.

As usual, the first day of the conference is devoted to the chosen theme for this year's conference, Forest Resources – Infrastructure and Planning. On the second day however, talks will touch on various topics related to forests and forestry that are not specific to the theme of the conference. The conference program is as follows.
