Birna Íris Jónsdóttir new CEO of Digital Iceland

Birna Íris is a computer scientist from the University of Iceland. She also has an MBA and a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Reykjavík, as well as a diploma in positive psychology from the University of Iceland (EHÍ). For the past two years, Birna has worked in consultancy in the field of strategy and information technology, as well as teaching courses in project management at the Master's level at Reykjavík University. She previously worked there as head of IT operations and security at Össur hf., director of IT operations and digital development at Högur, and director of IT at Sjóvá. The publication Íris will begin operations later this month.
