Hundreds of kilometer status registred

At the end of the year, a kilometer fee will be introduced for the use of electric, hydrogen, and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Owners of such vehicles can now register kilometer status on Ísland.is My Pages and in the Ísland.is app. The registration opened on the 18th of December 2023 and in the first days around 400 owners had already registered the kilometer status of their vehicles. Feedback from users on the registration process has also been positive and constructive and has already improved the process.

Digital Iceland has advertised two vacancies for applications. There are positions of product manager, as well as a project and quality manager. For more information on the work, visit Starfatorg.

Over 17 thousand applications in November

17,379 people finished their errands with the help of Ísland.is application system in November of which around 2500 were connected to #ForGrindavík.

A very large user joined the Ísland.is Login Service in the beginning of December when Heilsuvera joined the group. On average, there are about 10,500 who log on to Hdaily.

Housing & Construction Authority going digital

Housing & Construction Authority's staff have been working hard to get the number of applications in digital format. They can all be found on the agency's website on Ísland.is.

Postponement of the Closing of the older My Pages of Ísland.is

The planned closure of the older My Pages on the 2nd of January has been postponed until the second half of 2024.

Vínbúðin scans digital driving licences

Vínbúðin is connected to the Ísland.is app's scanner and can therefore scan digital driving licences. Connecting the scanner to the checkout counters has simplified the process for all staff to use.
