Information website on the matter of referendum

One of the National Electoral Commission’s roles consists of providing extensive information on matters that are up for referendum, and has therefore opened an information website at kosning.is. On the website, impartial information is provided about the matter, so voters can decide a well-informed position regarding the question that is proposed. At kosning.is, voters can also find practical information about the general conduct of elections.

An information brochure on the referendum will furthermore be distributed to all homes in August.

Attention is also drawn to Netvís – Safer Internet Center, that has launched a new information website during the run-up to the referendum.
