Change in sampling due to COVID-19
As of April 1, it will only be offered to order symptom samples using rapid tests at HVE.
The health centers will offer rapid tests 2-3 working days a week for those with symptoms that may indicate Covid-19. Sampling that has been carried out in Akranes on weekends and red days is suspended.
Those with symptoms can order a rapid test at www.heilsuvera.is or at https://hradprof.covid.is/ to get a barcode that is needed to get a sample. You must attend on the announced day.

Sampling for travel/Departure screening:
As before, PCR sampling or rapid tests are not offered for asymptomatic people due to travel abroad.
