A grant for innovative ideas in maritime safety

Each year, the Icelandic Transport Authority grants various research projects related to the safety of ships, professional seafarers, passengers, and onboard equipment, as well as projects aimed at promoting a healthy environment for maritime workers.

Grants are intended for individuals and/or organisations proposing solutions in these areas. The total grant amount available is up to ISK 2,500,000 per year, and applications are open to everyone.
