Those who submit an inheritance financial statement can, in the process, submit a summary of funeral costs, which will then be deducted when the inheritance tax is calculated.
To complete the summary, you will need the estate's case number from the District Commissioner.
Deductible costs include:
funeral services
casket and furnishings
cremation
printing and floral arrangements
music performances in the ceremony
rental fee for a hall
cost of the funeral reception
