Dispute regarding the amount of inheritance tax
If the District Commissioner has comments on the inheritance report, he gives the heirs/agent a deadline to make corrections or corrects himself if the comments are minor.
If there is a dispute between the heirs and the District Commissioners about the tax base for a specific property or other things that affect the amount of the inheritance tax, the District Commissioner can give the heirs a two-week period to submit documents in support of their claims. The District Commisioner may extend this deadline by two weeks.
After the deadline, the District Commissioner determines the inheritance tax on the basis of the submitted data and notifies the heirs.
