Infrastructure Fund
The Infrastructure Fund provides grants to universities, public research institutions and companies for the purchase, development and major renovation of research infrastructure, such as equipment, databases, software and other facilities that are important for the advancement of scientific research in Iceland.
It is also possible to apply for grants to cover the cost of access to national or international research infrastructure.
Companies can only be co-applicants, and it is a condition that a university or public institution leads the application and that the infrastructure applied for is owned by universities, public institutions, or publicly owned companies.
All applications must be submitted electronically through the Rannís application portal (Rannis.is - My pages). Applications in any other format will not be accepted.
