When applying for a pension, it is possible to apply for a home allowance along the way. It is part of the application process and is processed at the same time as you receive other pension payments.
However, the right to a home allowance may be created after the pension payments start. You can then fill out an application for a home allowance on My pages.

Select Applications
Select the Application Home Allowance
Fill out the application and attach any supporting documents if you have them.
Click on Send an application
Please note that you must register the date of application.
Reversible applications
Home allowance is paid from the first day of the following month after the conditions are fulfilled. Applications can be made up to two years in retrospect.
Application processing time
The processing time for applications for home allowance is up to 4 weeks. If applications are submitted retrospectively, the processing time may take longer.
You can follow the status of applications on My pages under Application Status. If you need data, you will receive an email and notification on My pages under My documents.

If you disagree with the decision, you can:
requested a justification on My TR pages,
sent a message to TR's customer representative,
or appeal the ruling to the Welfare Appeals Board.
Payments of household allowances
The home allowance is paid in advance on the first day of each month with other pension payments.
If payments are accepted retroactively, the credit is paid out as soon as possible on the bank account registered on My pages.
