Why does my child need to be reassessed if their condition is unchanged?
A care assessment is valid for a maximum of five years at a time. A child's need for care must be reassessed regularly to ensure that the correct allowance is received for the correct period. If the situation is unchanged, the reassessment should reflect that and the allowance should remain unchanged.
