Social Insurance Administration: Children and young adults

Is it possible to get an extension of child support over the age of 18?

A parent cannot receive child support after the child turns 18. A young person aged 18-20 can apply for an education allowance. The first step is to obtain a ruling from the District Commissioner that the parent must pay the allowance. A copy of the ruling is then submitted to TR along with an application and confirmation of school attendance or a vocational training contract.
