Can I apply for a child pension for special expenses?
Child pensions for special expenses are paid for children with whom a parent receives child pensions and either the parent is deceased, the child is unfathered or mother not recognized. Special expenses may be for baptism, confirmation, glasses purchase, dental restoration, illness, burial or other special occasion. The application process must be started with the District Commissioner to obtain a ruling that TR should pay the child pension.
