Can you apply for a grant for wigs and/or tailored headgear and tattoos on eyebrows and eyelines?
Yes, grants are provided for the purchase of wigs and/or custom headgear, eyebrow tattoos and eye lines in the case of:
permanent alopecia
hair loss due to cancer treatment or endocrine treatment
widespread chronic alopecia areata (for more than one year)
The grant is 188,000 ISK and is provided for two-year terms.
Tattoos must be performed in cosmetic and/or tattoo parlours with an approved work licence
