Yes, those who cannot use self-service with electronic ID can obtain a discount code from the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration (IRCA). Processing discount codes takes 2 – 14 days and processing time depends on the delivery method.  If self-service on Ísland.is is not used, a code can be requested in the following manner: 

• Through the IRCA's suggestion system at www.vegagerdin.is. 

• With an application form sent by mail to the IRCA. The form can be found on the IRCA website.
