Hazardous chemicals are defined based on their nature and the danger they cause or can cause. To be considered hazardous, they must meet the conditions in the regulation on the classification, labeling and packaging of chemicals and chemical mixtures (CLP regulation).

If toxic chemicals are used in the workplace, a special toxic chemicals license must be applied for by filling in an application for a toxic chemicals license for the purchase and use of a toxic chemical labeled GHS06 for commercial purposes, from the AOSH.
